Massage Styles Available
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is a firm and slow technique to lengthen and separate specific muscles and muscle groups. The surface muscles are first warmed-up using moderate pressure (Swedish massage therapy) which allows the therapist access to deeper tissue. The massage helps with chronic pain, injury rehabilitation and aids to reduce adhesions allowing muscles to move more freely and independently.
Swedish
Swedish Massage helps to melt away muscle tensions and knots while increasing blood flow throughout your body providing oxygen and nutrients to the muscles. Swedish Massage is both relaxing and therapeutic, decreasing muscle toxins, increasing oxygen levels and improving flexibility. The pressure used during a session will vary from light to firm based on feedback from the client.
Sports Massage
Is a blend of multiple massage techniques including compression, stretching, effleurage, friction and trigger point therapy designed to reduce injuries, alleviate inflammation and enhance muscle recovery. The pressure will vary from light to moderate to firm based on the responsiveness of the tissue and preference of the client.
